SigNET’s LinX voice alarm system is now installed at Vue Cinema's magnificent seven-screen complex in Newbury. The system acts as a combined public address/voice alarm/background music system and automatically broadcasts pre-recorded messages in the event of an emergency and includes all of the features of larger life-safety VA/PA systems in a compact wall-mounting swing frame rack. Says Martin Gough of contractors, Dicks Electrical: "LinX was specified chiefly because it is an all-in-one, pre-wired and ready to use system which is incredibly easy-to-install and, therefore, highly cost-effective.”

SUCCESSFUL VERDICT

SigNET’s powerful Integrity voice alarm/public address system has been installed at a prestigious Crown Court building in the Borough of Hounslow in London as part of a multi-million pound expansion project. The existing Court building in Isleworth has been extended to accommodate six new Crown Courts, a development which will increase custodial capacity and the infrastructure necessary for the courts to function. SigTEL COMPACT IN FLAGSHIP IKEA STORE

SigNET’s new SigTEL Compact disabled refuge system has been installed at Ireland’s first-ever IKEA store in Belfast. A networked SigTEL system with two master controllers is now operating at the massive flagship store which stocks the full 9,500 items of the IKEA range. A failing voice alarm system at one of Southampton’s biggest tourist attractions, the Quay’s Eddie Read Swimming and Dive Complex, has been replaced by SigNET’s fully integrated voice alarm, public address and background music system, Integrity. After spending many hours repairing the site’s old voice alarm system, Technical Alarm Systems (TAS), an established partner of Southampton City Council, were keen to replace the faulty system and, after a lengthy consultation process, Integrity was chosen for the £10m site.....more
